The sale proposes a beautiful set of original photographic prints from the XIX to the XX century.

For the XIX century it will be necessary to count on some prints around the travel and the ancient monuments. The unavoidable World Fairs will be present and we will have to linger with the Nadars (father and son) around a beautiful portrait of Théophile Gautier and a print from the Pantheon Nadar of 1864.

The 20th century will be highlighted by a set of glass negatives of Constantin Brancusi in his studio or a remarkable set of 20 photographic prints by Cartier Bresson. The latter allow us to enter the intimacy of Coco Chanel, Pierre Bonnard or to travel to India, China or Spain.

The sale also presents photographs that show us the great artists such as Picasso, César or Dino Fracchia.

The scenes of everyday life are well represented between comic scenes, dance, politics, demonstrations, ... the liberation of Paris or photographs of Paris through the prism of the photographer.
