JH BREAKELL & Co for CARTIER. Rare oval-shaped silver BELT BUCKLE depicting a ship sailing under a sky of clouds and sun, inscribed AMERICA on the reverse, signed CARTIER. Sterling hallmark, 7.5 X 5.2 cm Weight 75 g (Small accident to the barb on the reverse. Probably made for the Royal Yacht Squadron, the most prestigious yacht club in the United Kingdom, which was behind the creation of the America's Cup in 1851.
