Milner Kite. 1884 Received the Taylor Prize from the Royal Dublin Society. 1887 Probable date of his first stay in Pont-Aven where he met Milner Kite again and stayed at the Gloanec boarding house. 1888 Lives in Paris, 4, rue Darcet and exhibits at the Salon a portrait of the Danish painter Paul Vogelius. 1889 Stayed in Grez-sur-Loing, near Nemours and met the American painter Edward Brooks.
