[Samuel BECKETT] Set of several works by Samuel Beckett, most of them after the author's death, and presented in an atypical format, made for bibliophiles. Cap au pire, unique edition of 30 copies, including 5 HC, with 10 original photographs by Marie Redor, in a slipcase (1994). This one is one of the 5 HC, n° IV. La Nuit noire ou La Nuit obscure de l'âme , after a poem by John of the Cross (1542-1591), a beautiful work in German containing 6 drypoint engravings, numbered and signed in the lower margin, engravings made by the German artist Peter Marggraf, bearing on all the autograph signature in pencil of the artist. All these engravings and their text are contained in a slipcase [48,5 x 37 cm] for this first German Suhrkamp edition of January 1996, printed at 9 copies. [6 copies numbered 1/6 to 6/6 and 3 copies numbered E.A 1 to E.A 3, reserved for the artist. This one, n° 3/6]. Another work with its triangular casing of surprising size relating to the text of Samuel Beckett Comedy, published by Suhrkamp, after the play written in 1963, featuring 3 characters, two women and a man, imprisoned in jars. Alinea Press 1996. Original and atypical opening in accordion. Edition of 30 numbered copies in roman numeral and 25 copies in German, English and French. Finally, in an original composition in mixed technique of plaster and paper, without signature, enclosing an unusual edition of This time, forming a binding-embossing, with within this realization in a designed crevice, some words of the beginning of the dialogue.
