English-style COMMODE, in rosewood veneer, the front opening to three slightly convex drawers, one of which is in the waistband and two without a crossbar, decorated with amaranth fllets knotted in Greek at the corners, flanked on the sides by two shelves with a rounded profile surrounded by an openwork gallery of brass. Resting on four tapered legs. White marble top. Ornamentation of gilt bronze. Stamped C.C. SAUNIER, under a drawer. Louis XVI period. Claude Charles Saunier (1735-1807), received master on July 31, 1752. (Small missing pieces). 92,5 x 128 x 45 cm
